Need help with vet care or spay/neuter?

Start with our application — it takes a few minutes, and it's how we review every request:

Fill Out the Application

We can help with up to $150 toward an unpaid vet balance, on a limited, case-by-case basis. Please don't pay the bill first — we're not able to reimburse services that are already paid. Your vet's written estimate helps us review your request faster.

Do I have to use this app?
No — it's completely optional. If you'd rather call, text, or email us the way you always have, that's perfectly fine. Nothing changes for you.

Is it free?
Yes, completely free.

Do I need to download something or create an account?
No download, no account, no password. Just tap the link. If you like, you can save it to your home screen so it opens like an app.

I don't have a smartphone, or I'm not good with phones.
No problem at all — just keep calling us at (216) 307-7814, or texting or emailing us, the way you always have.

Will I still get my appointment reminders?
Yes. Your reminders keep coming the way they do now — the app is just one more way to reach us.

What happens after I send a message?
It lands in our inbox, a real person reads it, and we reply within 1–2 business days by phone, text, or email.

Is my information private?
Yes. Your message comes only to us at Companion Pets of Cleveland. We never sell or share your information.

Questions we hear a lot

How do I get help for my pet?
Start with our application — it takes a few minutes and it's how we review every request. We'll follow up once we've reviewed it.

What kinds of help do you offer?
Vaccination clinics, help toward spay/neuter, and limited help with vet bills — plus referrals to other organizations when they're a better fit.

How much financial help can I get?
Up to $150 toward an unpaid vet balance, case by case. Please ask your vet for a written estimate — it speeds up our review.

I already paid my vet bill. Can you pay me back?
No — our help covers unpaid balances only, so please reach out before you pay.

Where are the vaccination clinics?
At VIP Petcare, 4565 Willow Parkway in Cleveland. Our clinics run by appointment only, so we have your pet's records ready and the right vaccines on hand — we can't see walk-ins. To get an appointment: if you're new to us, fill out our application first. If you're already a client, message us through this app and we'll schedule you.

Do you give rabies shots at the clinic?
No — rabies shots aren't given at our clinics. Message us and we'll point you to low-cost options.

Does my pet have to be spayed or neutered to get shots?
No. We'd rather get your pet served — we can talk about spay/neuter after.

What should I bring to my appointment?
Any vaccination records you have. Dogs on a leash, cats in a carrier, please.

My pet is sick or hurt right now — what do I do?
If it's an emergency, go straight to an emergency vet — don't wait on us. You can message us about the bill afterward.

Can you trap a cat or pick up my pet for its appointment?
No — we can't trap or transport pets to vet visits; you'll need to get your pet to the appointment yourself.

I found a stray pet. What should I do?
Message us with the details and a photo if you can. We're a small, foster-based rescue, so space is limited — but we'll help if we can or point you to who can.

How soon will I hear back?
Usually within 1–2 business days. If it's time-sensitive, call us at (216) 307-7814.
